The Consular Section accepts
applications for immigrant visas at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, Monday,
Tuesday and Wednesday, excluding U.S. and U.A.E. holidays. U.S.
Citizens filing an immigrant petition for a spouse or child must
come to the Embassy Consular Section between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00
a.m. on these days. Applications are accepted on an appointment
basis only.

Arab Emirates which the Mission, including the US Embassy in Abu
Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai, will observe during calendar
year 2004.
Please note that the actual dates of some observances for some UAE
holidays are set by local government and religious authorities,
therefore the actual holiday observances may vary from the dates
on this list.
